How the firm was formed
The Gabriela Dimofte Individual Law Office was founded in 2004. The George Dimofte Individual Law Office was founded in 2012. The two currently operate as associated seats, in the same office in Galați.
We are part of a group of sixteen law firms specialised in different fields of competence. The group allows us to handle requests that go beyond the scope of a single firm, without you having to look separately for a specialist for each part of the problem.
Who we work with
We maintain a permanent working relationship with an industrial property counsel office, for the registration of trademarks and industrial designs.
For matters that go beyond legal practice, the firm has set up partnerships with notaries public, judicial technical experts and bailiffs. The purpose is for you to receive a complete package of services from the start, without having to investigate on your own how to find each specialist.
How we work
In our relations with the companies with which we collaborate permanently, we aim for a partnership, working as a team both with management and with operating staff. We care not only about understanding the client's goals, but also about verifying whether we can genuinely help reach them.
Our services address private individuals as well as legal entities, public or private. Both partners are litigation attorneys, and representation before the courts holds a central role in daily practice, not a secondary one.

How many lawyers work at the firm?
There are two partners, George Dimofte and Gabriela Dimofte, each exercising the profession through their own individual law office. For matters beyond their fields of competence we rely on the group of sixteen firms we belong to.
What does it mean that the offices are associated?
Each lawyer exercises the profession through their own individual office, with their own professional liability, but the two operate together, in the same seat, and divide work by field of competence. It is a form of practising provided by Law 51/1995.
Do you have experience outside Galați?
Yes. Representation takes place before any court in Romania, and some of the areas we cover, such as public procurement or tax litigation, frequently involve hearings in other counties.
